Today, it is expected that Oslo Børs will start the day in a positive direction. This is based on the development in US stocks yesterday. Asia is likewise noted positive and futures are up. Focus on JPMorgan and US.

Friday, Oslo Børs Benchmark Index rose 2.3% to 435.33 points and OBX-index finished in 379.38 points a rise of 2.3%.

In USA the major indices closed positive with the Nasdaq closing up by 0.45%, the S&P closed up by 0.46% and Dow finishing 0.49% up. Asia is noted positive. Nikkei is up by 1.23%, and Hang Seng is up by 0.73%.

Crude Oil is noted in 113.79 USD per barrel. Brent oil is noted in 111.08 USD per barrel. The Dollar is noted in 5.00 NOK. Euro is noted in 7.92 NOK.

Recommendations

We recommend to buy EDB. The Company reports an increase of 16% in operating revenue to NOK 1,838 million for the first quarter of 2008. The group`s operating profit before intangible asset amortisation (EBITA) rose to NOK 173 million in the first quarter of 2008 as compared to NOK 143 million in the same quarter of 2007, an increase of 21%.
