NNIT signs agreement with the Danish Prison and Probation Service

The Danish Prison and Probation Service's IT systems for case handling will the next two to four years be maintained and developed by NNIT, who won the contract on a high quality level.

Copenhagen, August 30th 2016 - Over the next two to four years, NNIT A/S will handle maintenance, support and development of the IT systems that form the basis of the Danish Prison and Probation Service's case management, including exchange of information with other public authorities.

The contract, which was signed today, marks the beginning of up to four years of collaboration. The first two years, the contract's estimated value will reach a double-digit DKKm amount, and if the collaboration is prolonged to four years, the estimated total value will amount in the medium-size double-digit DKKm range.

The Danish Prison and Probation Service issued a public tender and called for proposals to continue strengthening the system for client handling, which includes sensitive personal data.

In the public tender that was the basis of the selection of NNIT, quality - especially quality, security and certainty in the supply processes - weighed 70%.

Responsible for sales to the public sector, Vice President Lars Andersen comments:

We are proud to meet the very high standards of the Danish Prison and Probation Service, including their high demands for quality, which form a decisive part of our services. This agreement is a testament to our ability to live up to the clients' expectations.
