Danish Banks (Sector Update) Yesterday evening the parties behind bank package I and II agreed upon a solution for winding up banks post bank package I, as of 1 October 2010. Overall this is hardly anything new. It is more a clear guidance on how the current legislation works after the general guarantee in bank package I is no more. That said the set-up is likely to put further pressure on the minor banks, as size could be considered equal to quality.
